Nine of the works projected in the Recovery Plan of the old town are underway (12/09/2020)

| The restoration of the Chapel of the Council is already in tender and the works of the II phase of the Amphitheater are about to begin | The Cartagena City Council has already begun processing the files for nine of the works planned in the Recovery Plan for the historic center of the municipality.

Among them, the most advanced are the adaptation of the Puerta de San José, in whose Stables of the Guard Corps a new Tourist Office will be installed, which is already being executed, as well as the musealization project of the Roman Forum Quarter, and the square in front of the old administrative building of Sor Francisca Armendáriz.This same week the restoration project of the Council Chapel, located in Santa María la Vieja, was put up for tender, for an amount of 108,900 euros.
