CAIF opens a new section in Cartagena (20/07/2020)

| In addition to launching this new section, the Comprehensive Family Care Center consolidates its non-face-to-face care service and prepares to start a new course in September | The Comprehensive Family Care Center (CAIF), which is based in Murcia, is launching a new section in Cartagena, which will open its doors on September 7, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14: 00 hours and from 16:00 to 19:00 hours, in Calandre 40 street, in a place given by the Cartagena Vicarage.

"We are very grateful for being able to open a new section of the CAIF in Cartagena to facilitate the care of families who need our services in this municipality," explains José Luis Marín, director of the center. On the other hand, last April, CAIF set up a non-face-to-face assistance service that it put into operation temporarily to be able to attend to patients who remained isolated as a result of the pandemic.

Although the state of alarm has ended, the management of the center has decided to maintain telematic assistance, together with face-to-face, permanently.

“The Covid-19 challenged us to provide our patients with an online care system, which we implemented as quickly as possible.

Now, seeing that it is feasible and following the vocation of expanding our borders to reach the whole world, we have decided to take advantage of the multiple options that this section offers us, ”says Marín, who also states that, through this service,CAIF is currently serving families in Italy and the United States.Next Monday, the CAIF management team will meet at its headquarters in Murcia with the aim of setting strategies for the course that will begin in September.

In addition, with the intention of continuing to expand and improve the care of its patients, the CAIF team of psychologists is being trained in different specialized therapies at the ACT Institute and at the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid, where a member of this team is attending, in person, the first training for Spanish-speaking professionals on porn addiction.

"CAIF offers all kinds of innovative therapies so that our users can count on specialized and personalized treatment, which is only possible through the training of our professionals,to which we dedicate 25% of their working day because we think that investing in their training is investing in the quality of our services ”.
