The local Government Board, chaired by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has given its approval to the signing of an agreement with Renfe whereby rail transport users visiting Cartagena to attend congresses, festivals or tourist routes, will obtain a 30 percent discount on train tickets.
In addition, Renfe will issue promotional videos of Cartagena in all its channels and will use the information provided by the City Council to promote the municipality through its blogs, networks and different media.
For its part, the City Council undertakes to inform Renfe users of all the programming and activities it organizes.
LOANS FOR THE DANA
At its meeting this morning, the Governing Board has also approved the award of two loans to deal with the damages caused by the September DANA.
The first of these loans, which has been awarded in the long term to Banco Sabadell, has an amount of 7,377,217 euros.
The conditions are as follows: 0% opening commission;
total or partial early repayment commission of 0% and interest rate of 0.017%.
The second loan, of legislature and for an amount of 1,972,456 euros has been awarded to CaixaBank.
In this case the opening and cancellation conditions are maintained and only the interest rate varies, which is 0.057%.
