The drawing contest El Castillito-Salesianos celebrates three years (12/12/2019)

'Sports and Christmas', with a nod to the Mar Menor, is the theme of the fifteenth edition of the drawing contest El Castillito-Salesianos with greater participation in person than those that take place in the Region of Murcia and will be held in the morning on Saturday, December 14, at the facilities of the Los Dolores-Barriada teaching center in Latin America, where a mailbox for letters to the Magi will also be installed and among which various gifts will be drawn.

In addition to the prizes for the winners of the contest, such as a bicycle for the first prize, all participants receive bags with gifts.

The program will begin at 9.30 am with the drawing contest, which will end at 10.30 am, when a chocolate breakfast with buns is distributed and animations begin by a dance group.

Then, traditional games will be held (sack races, fishing in Barreño, etc.) and at 12.00 the awards ceremony will begin in the Salesian auditorium, which will culminate with a raffle for gifts, including a second one. bike.

The theme of the drawings will be the traditional one of 'Christmas and sport', but this time the participants can enrich their designs with elements of the Mar Menor, as it shows solidarity with the problem suffered by the 'salt lagoon' and its villages.

In addition, the well-known artists Rogelio & Joaquín have given up for that day the large banner they have created with the 'SOS Mar Menor'.

The XV drawing contest is organized by the cultural platform El Castillito and the Salesianos school, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City Council, among other entities.
