The name of José Albaladejo already presides over the press room of the City Hall (10/10/2019)

The Press Room of the Consistorial Palace of Cartagena has already been called José Albaladejo Ros Press Room, as can be read on the plaque that already looks at the entrance, in memory and posthumous tribute of what was for many years photographer of the City Hall from Cartagena.

In the course of a simple act, the mayor Ana Belén Castejón, in the company of the widow and children of the honoree, discovered the plaque that gives name to the room, and in which from now on the reproduction will also be permanently exhibited of the vignette that the humorist José Manuel Puebla dedicated to Pepe Albaladejo on the occasion of his death in September 2018.

With a broken voice, the mayor has had a few words of love for Pepe, 'the least we can do to remind her is to give her name to one of the rooms she was from, not her second home, if not her first house ', something that with good humor corroborated his widow, Isabel.

To the samples of affection all the attendees have been added, both Puebla, who was grateful to be able to be present on the walls of the City Hall by the hand of Pepe Albaladejo, as a good number of friends and colleagues, as well as a broad representation of the municipal corporation, with the presence of councilors of all municipal groups.

Remember that the nomination of the Press Room with the name of José Albaladejo Ros was approved unanimously in the plenary of last July 26, based on the initiative of members of the Association of Graphic Reporters of the Region that proposed this tribute, to who have joined colleagues and people close to the photographer.
