Cartagena Port of Cultures celebrates the day of the patron with an open day (09/04/2019)

Puerto de Culturas will join the celebration of Friday of Dolores, in an open day.

During this festive Friday you can visit the Roman Theater, the Punic Wall, the Forum of the Roman Forum, the Concepción Castle, the Refugio-Museo de la Guerra Civil, Casa de la Fortuna, Augusteum and Fuerte de Navidad during your opening hours. habitual.

Tourist transport, such as the boat, bus and panoramic lift will not be free.

On the other hand, opening and closing schedules are extended, being able to visit the museums the next two Monday, April 15 and 22, on the occasion of the celebration of Holy Week.

The entire programming of guided and dramatized routes has been intensified and children's activities have been extended, such as Teo Jones and the Secret of the Goddess Isis, by hanging the complete poster in all the previous performances.

Thus there will be a guided or dramatized route every day in view of the high demand of tourists who visit the city during the Holy Week period.

In the Castle of the Conception is the reproduction of decisive documents of the history of Spain signed by the Catholic Monarchs: the edict of expulsion of the Jews of 1492 or the document where Cartagena and its port is annexed to Castile.

A novel dramatized Roman route full of winks and humor capsules where we will visit the most important sites knowing different Roman characters that await us in the Roman Theater, the Forum Neighborhood and Casa de la Fortuna, to tell us what life is like in Carthago Nova .
