The event is framed within the commemorative events of the 40th anniversary of the educational center.

All the collection obtained with the numbers and commemorative shirts will go to ASIDO Cartagena and Autismo Somos Todos.

The association Zancadas on wheels also participates in this activity with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.

The details of the test have been announced Thursday at the press conference in which they have appeared the Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora;

the director of the IES Elcano, José Enrique García;

and the teachers of the center, Francisco Peña and Mateo Ripoll.

The race will start at 10 am from the center, located on the Tentegorra Road.

During the trip to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Cartagena, there will be a stop at La Vaguada for a tree plantation.

The Association of Naturalists of the Southeast provides the seeds for this act.

At 11 am, the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, will read a manifesto in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

After reading, participants will move to the Palace of Sports of Cartagena.

There will be raffled balloons for all attendees to the solidarity march.

From there he will return to the institute, where a party will be held with DJ in the yard of IES Elcano.

The Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora, made clear the objective of the activity, "is not other than to give visibility to the groups that present other physical and cognitive capacities, in whose inclusion and integration the center is especially involved for many years" .

For his part, the director of IES Elcano, José Enrique García, pointed out that "we have a very active faculty.

One day I met Mateo Ripoll and Francisco Peña -professionals from the center- talking about a project they had in hand and this project had to be supported ".

Francisco Peña, professor of Music at the center, emphasized that this solidarity march is special.

"We do not want it to be a purely beneficent march.

We want to bring people who have some type of disability into the forefront in that full inclusion. "

"We do not want to see them as people who are recipients of help, but we are really talking about students and extraordinary people who really contribute in the educational environments in which they are."

Mateo Ripoll, professor of Plastic Arts, explained the meaning of the motto of the march 'The puddle, get wet for the full inclusion and accessibility!', And that "to cross the puddle means to build that bridge and bring a new conception of the world".

Those interested in obtaining a number for the solidary march can write to the email address elcharcoelcano@gmail.com or at the IES Elcano Secretariat.
