In this sense, Garcia explained that "we come to realize a new milestone in the political persecution of which José López is a victim and all of us who form MC Cartagena."
Campaign orchestrated by PP and PSOE in response to their corruption plots
The mayor of Cartagena has valued that it is a campaign orchestrated by PP and PSOE for years, "specifically since we uncovered their corrupt plots and offered citizens a way to make decent and clean politics."
As examples of this persecution, Garcia recalled that Lopez has endured complaints to say that Alonso and Barreiro were corrupt and that MC had to leave the Government because Castejón violated the Law and the Constitution.
"Regarding the issue that brings us here today," continued the deputy spokesperson for MC, "this is the defamation initiated by the PP and seconded by the PSOE when we discovered that they justified the money they receive from the City Council for operating expenses of their respective municipal groups, meals for a thousand people or invoices of works in the toilets of their headquarters ".
Unable to attack MC for its management
Emphasizing this issue, Isabel García has estimated that the aforementioned defamation campaign is due to her "inability to attack us because of our management, because any comparison leaves them bad or worse, so they have tried to equate us with them in corruption. that there are decent people in politics and they attack the honesty and integrity of José López and, as always, they get frog. Finally, he recalled that the mayor tried, on two occasions, to bring this matter to the Plenary without reports.
"We all knew why, now the competent body has said it, it is categorically compatible, and we hope that it will now take it to the next plenary session with the same speed."
PP and PSOE continue without providing a single test about the alleged incompatibility
For his part, Jesús Giménez stressed that "after a year of waiting, we finally have a conclusive report confirming that since 2011 José López has recognized the compatibility of his private activity".
The report also explains that there is no legal or material reason to doubt the absolute dedication Lopez has had in his public service.
