Students of the employability project Accempleo 3.0 receive their diplomas (18/06/2018)

The students of the project 'Accempleo 3.0.', In which the City of Cartagena collaborates through Social Services, received their diplomas on Thursday 14 June at a closing ceremony of the course held at the headquarters of the ACCEM association and that was attended by the managing director of IMAS, Verónica López García.

Accempleo 3.0 is a program aimed at the social and labor integration and improvement of the employability of people in situation or risk of social exclusion or with special difficulties.

The intervention focuses on the residents of the neighborhood of Virgen de la Caridad, San Ginés and Ensanche-Almarjal, although it has also worked with people from other areas of the municipality derived from the Social Services of the City of Cartagena and with people without domicile who participate in the Acceptance Program for Homeless Persons of Accem or who are referred by the Service of Attention to Passers-by of the City Council.

The project began on July 1, 2017 and will end on June 30, with 72 participants.

It is a project funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) by 80% and the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS) by 20%, with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.

The initiative of the project arises with the aim of contributing to improve the employability of people who find more obstacles to enter the labor market.

This objective has been made possible through individualized itineraries of socio-labor insertion in which training, comprehensive social assistance, work orientation, labor intermediation and follow-up in employment have been carried out.

The formations carried out during this project have been:

Social skills

Active job search

Pre-employment training:

Preparation workshops for obtaining the Key Competences N 2

Workshop Resources on the Net

Food Hygiene Workshops.

Occupational training:

Basic skills of restaurant and bar with 80 hours of non-work placements.

Equality of opportunities has been working transversally both in the individualized tutorials, as in training, workshops and complementary activities.

The achievements can be summarized in:

72 people have participated in the program

43 participants have obtained a qualification after their participation through both internal and external training.

20 people have obtained a work contract throughout the program.
