Councillors Education and Social Care, Josefa Antonio Maroto and Calderon will attend on Friday, May 28, at the close of the municipal Intercultural Education A school open to other cultures, which are invited the Director General of Immigration , Development Cooperation and Volunteerism, Leopoldo Navarro Quiles, and the general director of Promotion, Management and Educational Innovation, Carlos Romero Gallego.
This program, with the participation of 22 schools in Cartagena, has been offering over the past eight school years and has among its objectives to contribute to the development of intercultural awareness in the educational community and to promote values education tolerance and mutual solidarity between immigrant students and those in our community.
This course, on the occasion of the interest aroused inter-center experiences reflected in various joint actions, to be held for the first time a closing ceremony to bring all participating schools and provide new encounters to achieve common goals.
The closing ceremony will be held at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy, from 9 am.
The event will be attended by students and teachers of 22 schools that implement this program.
Also account for the event with the contribution of work related to multiculturalism, which have been created during this course to certain actions in each center, and they have given to the exhibition will be mounted for this purpose.
During the closure will be performing arts, where students themselves will be the stars of theater performances and music, which have been shown in their centers and collecting cultural diversity of these, which improves the integration and coexistence of different communities educational.
